Thank you for shopping with Palette Home
Because our products range from paint to original artwork to furniture, shipping methods and timelines vary based on the item purchased. This policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and handled.


Processing Times

Paint Orders

  • Orders for Farrow & Ball, Fine Paints of Europe, and other paint products are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days.

  • Tinted/mixed paint begins processing immediately and cannot be changed or canceled once tinting has begun (see Return & Refund Policy).

Artwork

  • Artwork purchased online is typically packed and shipped within 3–5 business days, depending on packaging requirements and availability.

Woven Furniture

  • Woven furniture ships directly from the vendor and follows their processing timelines.

  • Lead times may vary based on stock availability and vendor scheduling.


Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery timelines vary by category and carrier:

Paint

  • Ships via UPS, FedEx, or USPS ground.

  • Most orders arrive within 1–4 business days after shipping.

Artwork

  • Ships via ground or priority services depending on size and packaging.

  • Most artwork arrives within 2–5 business days after shipping.

Woven Furniture

  • Ships via freight or LTL carriers once processed by the vendor.

  • Delivery timelines vary, but typically fall within the window provided at the time of shipment notification.

Please note: Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, or vendor logistics.


Shipping Methods & Carriers

We use the following shipping methods:

  • UPS, FedEx, and USPS for paint and smaller items

  • Specialty packing / art shipping services for original artwork

  • Freight/LTL carriers for Woven furniture and oversized items

  • White-glove delivery may be available by request

Shipping method is determined automatically based on size, fragility, and destination.


Local Pickup & Art “On Approval”

Local Pickup

  • Select items may be eligible for pickup from our Richmond showroom.

  • You will be notified when your order is ready.

Artwork On Approval (Local Only)

  • Artwork taken “on approval” must be arranged directly with our team.

  • These items are not processed as online purchases until the approval period ends.

  • Once charged/purchased, artwork is considered final sale (see Return & Refund Policy).


Shipping to Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Please ensure your shipping information is accurate at checkout.
If a package is returned or undeliverable due to incorrect address entry:

  • Re-shipping fees may apply

  • Freight re-delivery fees may be substantial

  • Delivery delays may occur

Palette Home is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect shipping information.


Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  2. Provide clear photos of:

    • The item

    • Packaging

    • Shipping box (all sides)

  3. Retain all packaging until the claim is resolved

We will work with the carrier or vendor to repair, replace, or file a claim as needed.

Claims submitted after the 48-hour window may not be eligible for resolution due to carrier requirements.


Shipping Fees

Shipping fees vary by product category:

  • Paint: Standard ground shipping rates; promotional rates may apply

  • Artwork: Calculated based on size, weight, and packaging requirements

  • Woven Furniture: Freight or LTL rates determined by the vendor

Shipping fees are non-refundable.
